What's CAS

CAS stand for Creativity Action Service. It is a core component of the IBDP that encourages students to develop their personal and interpersonal growth by learning through experience and by providing opportunities to self-determination and collaboration with others.
I think that CAS is an essential counterbalance to the academic rigor of the IB Diploma Programme, as it motivates us to show initiative and perseverance and to develop collaboration, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
For me CAS is any activity that you can do with your family or friends. You just have to be benefiting a third part o just yourself. From working with your school o any associations nearby serving your comunity, to crate a workout plan that keeps you fit and healthy are CAS activities.
